patrick: hardly noticing it’s february

February 6, 2008 at 7:50 pm (Patrick)

You know how it seems like the years go by faster and faster every year?

I heard somewhere that it is actually true.

When you are three years old, every month that goes by is as long as 1/36 of your entire life. That’s a pretty significant length of time. Not only that, but you are changing so quickly that a month ago seems like a really long time.

When you are ten, each month that goes by is now only 1/120 of your entire life. Slightly less long compared to your entire memory. You aren’t changing quite as fast.

When you are twenty-five, every month that goes by is only 1/300 of your life.

And they zip on by.

I’ve been sick for most of February. It’s annoying being home sick for three days in a row. I have only left my house once and that was to go to Blockbuster with Amy to pick up a movie…we couldn’t find anything good.

I’m thinking about switching this blog over to it’s own domain, like “patricksblog.com” or something equally retarded. I’ll leave this page up to redirect you to that one probably. Keep an eye out!
