patrick: early to seminary
So I’m taking a module class this semester at Grace Theological Seminary. I go to class 8 hours a day all week. I do all the work one would normally do in a semester before the class even starts. I get 3 credit hours out of the way. Sounds great, huh?
Well this morning I get up at the crack of dawn to go to my first day of classes. I’ve already asked off of work and told all my friends not to expect me around. I walked into the class building and walked around, looking for the classroom my class was in. But there were no classes going, and the lights were all down.
I wandered around for about 10 minutes, thinking “i’m really late now, whenever i find this class…” Then I bumped into the Seminary Office manager Deea. Our conversation went as follows:
Patrick: Deea, where is this class?
Deea: What class?
Patrick: The module.
Deea: (confused) what module?
Patrick: (exasperated) the leadership module!
Deea: … That’s not til next week!
You’ve gotta be kidding me. I got all my pre-course work done, asked off work, and got up at 7am and the class isn’t until next week.
gah!
